Lucy was a lovely girl just beginning to enjoy her life. She had met her partner Kieran and had
begun a new Job as a carer. Lucy and Kieran were planning a bright happy future together, things had
really started to go well for her then she found out she had cancer. She was a very strong person,
she didn't complain she accepted her illness with true dignity. Even in the final weeks of her
life she had a really great sense of humour. I admire her and how she handled everthing so calmly.
She was devoted to her son Luke and I think that was the only thing about leaving this world that
annoyed Lucy. She wanted to see Luke grow up and have a family of his own. I believe she will
always be watching over Luke and all her family and friends especially her sister Cait who was more
than a sister she was lucy's soul mate. Lucy will shine down on all of her loved ones from
God's Beautiful garden in Heaven.
Rest in eternal peace Lucy.

A shadow of joy flickered; it is me.
I told you I wouldn't leave.
My spirit is with you.
My memories, my thoughts are
imbedded deep in your heart.
I still love you.
Do not for one moment think
that you have been abandoned.
I am in the Light.
In the corner,
in the hall,
the car,
the yard --
these are the places I stay with you.
My spirit rises every time you pray for me,
but my energy comes closer to you.
Love does not diminish,
it grows stronger.
I am the feather that finds you in the yard,
the dimmed light that grows brighter
in your mind,
I place our memories for you to see.
We lived in our special way,
a way that now has its focus changed.
I still crave your understanding and
long for the many words of prayer
and good fortune for my soul.
I am in the Light.
As you struggle to adjust without me,
I watch silently.
Sometimes I summon up all the strength
of my new world
to make you notice me.
Impressed by your grief,
I try to impress my love
deeper into your consciousness.
As you should,
I call out to the Heavens for help.
You should know that the fountain of youth
does exist.
My soul is now healthy.
Your love sends me new found energy.
I am adjusting to this new world.
I am with you and I am in the Light.
Please don't feel bad that you can't see me.
I am with you wherever you go.
I protect you,
just as you protected me so many times.
Talk to me and somehow I will
find a way to answer you.
Mother, father, son or daughter
it makes no difference.
Brother, sister, lover,
husband or wife, it makes no difference.
Whatever our connection-friend or even foe-
I see you with my new eyes.
I am learning to help wherever you are,
where ever I am needed.
This can be done because I am in the Light.
When you feel despair, reach out to me.
I will come.
Our love for you truly does
transcend from Heaven to Earth.
Finish your life with the enthusiasm and zest
that you had when we were together
in the physical sense.
You owe this to me, but more importantly,
you owe it to yourself.
Life continues for both of us.

We think of the ones that we hold so dear,
We pause to give thanks for our friends so true,

We hold up each loved one before His Throne
And ask Him to comfort the ones alone,
For those who have lost someone they hold dear,
We ask Him to strengthen and hold them near.
For those who have prospered, with new joys to savour,
We ask God continues to show them His favour.

Luc its times like this i wish u were here, i miss just talking to u and bantering on the phone or in a cafe or the pub lol, wish i had u here now to tell u all my troubles, but i know u know them anyway, god bless dear friend, sleep in peace till we meet again. xx

It really is the little things
That mean the most of all...
The 'let me help you with that' things
That may seem very small
The 'I'll be glad to do it' things
That make your cares much lighter,
The 'laugh with me, it's funny' things
That make your outlook brighter...
The 'never mind the trouble' things,
The 'yes, I understand,'
The interest and encouragement
In everything you've planned
It really is the little things,
The friendly word or smile,
That add such happiness to life
And make it more worth while.

Bright laughing eyes to light my days,
Courage rare and true;
Kind words - echoes of a loving heart,
I attribute to you.
But we will meet again my friend,
on times eternal shore,
We'll talk,
and laugh together then,
As we once did before.
a letter from heaven
TO my dearest family,
some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
